William McGuire is the founder of Will's Wills, PLLC, a Massachusetts law firm focused on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. For more than five years, he has helped individuals and families plan for the future and navigate the legal complexities that follow the loss of a loved one.
Why I Started Will's Wills
What drew me to estate planning is that it lets me care for people in a way most areas of law don't. My clients come to me at some of the most meaningful moments of their lives: starting a family, caring for aging parents, or grieving the loss of someone they love. Estate planning gives me the chance to practice law compassionately, taking the time to listen, explain, and make sure each person feels supported.
Too often, I saw estate plans that were more complicated and more expensive than the client needed. I started Will's Wills to make thoughtful estate planning accessible to everyone, not just people with complex estates. Every client deserves a plan they understand, at a cost that makes sense, from an attorney who truly cares about getting it right for them.
My Approach
Known for his clear communication and detail-oriented approach, William is passionate about making the law accessible and practical for every client. He developed Core Plus Planning, the firm's method for building estate plans that are comprehensive without being overcomplicated. Every plan starts with a Core of essential documents, then adds only the tools that fit each client's goals.
Whether a client needs a simple will, a trust-based plan, or guidance settling a loved one's estate, William follows the same clear process: an initial meeting, a design meeting, and a signing. Clients always know what comes next.

Community Involvement
William serves on the Southeastern Residential Services Human Rights Committee under the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services, helping protect the rights and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.
He is also an active member of several local business and professional groups, including High Flyers BNI, Blue Nexus, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, and the Charles River Chamber of Commerce, where he connects with fellow professionals and neighbors across Greater Boston.
Outside the Office
When he's not working with clients, you'll find William tinkering with his Mazda Miata, building custom furniture from car parts, or spending time with his dog, Miley.
